The mission of the Doctoral School of Sociology is to provide advanced quality training for specialists in Sociology and Social Work in the NW of Romania.

The objectives of the Doctoral School of Sociology are:

to provide quality methodological training of doctoral students and to promote doctoral degrees with a strong research component;
to promote valuable researchers in the field of social sciences through various incentives and rewards;
promotion of interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary approaches;
strict application of the highest ethical standards in research and publication;
involvement in the community as a provider of expertise and authoritative opinion.
